What can you tell us about yourself?

I graduated from Delaware State University (DSU) in 2010 with a degree in Accounting. During my time at DSU, I was the president of Haitian Student Association, a member of Finance and Accounting club, and Alpha Kappa Psi (the oldest and largest professional business fraternity). Each of these organizations helped build my core knowledge of business ethics and operations. After graduation, I've worked in various accounting positions including Dover Downs Hotel and Casino’s accounting department. Currently, I am working as a Financial Budgeting Analyst and I am pursing my MBA in accounting.

What other experiences do you have? 

For many years I worked for Nehemiah Gateway, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide access to financial education and services for low-to-moderate income individuals. As a manager, I assisted many people with tax returns, answered tax questions, and provided other financial advice.

Why did you start Fleu-ran Enterprise?

 My friends and family would always ask me questions on how they can maximize their tax returns, and I was always anxious and willing to help. One thing I realized was many people waited until the current tax season to start thinking of ways to maximize their tax returns and reduce their tax owed. If people would think about tax savings every day before spending a dollar, not one cent of tax deductions would be missed. This is where Fleu-ran Enterprise is fully effective for individuals and small businesses. Many people do not have the time to think about or even want to think about daily tax savings. I would like to take that pressure and responsibility away.
